Jon Groteleuschen (6’ 1”, 205) was last year’s leading scorer and will move from Fullback to Tailback this year.  SR. CB/WR Jaap van Gaalen (6’ 2”, 165) brings enough speed to the game to stretch a defense and allow us to play more man coverage on D.  SR. DE Young Oh (6’ 1”, 185) is the teams only returning all-Europe player.  Jr. LB Tyler Rood (5’ 8”, 185) returns as the team’s leading tackler.

Ø Last year’s record: 6 – 2, Including Host Nation Game

Coach's last word “Impact Newcomers: SR. TE/DE Justin Dickey (6’ 5”, 195) brings athleticism and size to both positions.  SR. OL Chris Savchenko (5’ 10”, 265) played for Ramstein his first 2 years before moving to the Pacific.  He returns for his senior year.  SR. LB Kenneth Peters (5’ 9”, 185) sat out last year with an arm injury after seeing significant playing time as a sophomore.
Coach’s final word: Although holes in the offense and defense appear to have been filled, questions remain about WHO will fill them.  There are question at quarterback where the incumbent SR. Steven Groenheim (6’ 1”, 175) is battling with JR. Caleb Parker (5’ 9”, 155) last year’s starting JV quarterback and newcomer Dylan Le Page (6’ 1”, 170) for the starting job.  Defensive back is also in question now.  Thought to be a strength when school let out in June, the unexpected moves of SR Safeties Desmond Rush and Dakota Collett, and the decision of 2 others to follow other pursuits have the staff wondering who will play opposite van Gaalen at CB and fill both safety spots.  There are many candidates but none have distanced themselves from the field..”
